I’ve witnessed people say things and never act on them. That’s an old story, very, very old. So, I was really wondering— is there really any connection between the words that come out of your mouth and the actions you take based on your beliefs? The effort it takes to state something and the effort it takes to implement that statement are so completely and utterly different that I almost don’t see how they’re even related, or at best, only barely related.
James 1:22 (NKJV):
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
The first step to anything is always to say it, but just know there’s a lot more at play for it to come to fruition in action. May the Lord give you grace and peace on the path you are walking.
